Welcome to the Auctionme FAQ.
So...You've heard about this great new site but don't know
what to do. It's easy. Simply follow the directions below and you'll
be up and surfing Auctionme online auctions in no time
You can search Auctionme anytime and you don't even
have to be a registered member. However, to bid on items of interest
or to list your own goods for sale you will need to register. As
soon as you're a member you can then use the links on the left hand
side to browse all of Auctionme.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I have found an item that I would like to
purchase but am not sure what to do?
A: You need to sign in. First you should
be 100% positive that the item meets your requirements. Secondly
you should be confident after talking to the seller that you are
going to recieve goods exactly as described. As a buyer or seller
you do have rights. Read the sellers feedback. This is designed
to give the buyer more trust in who they're dealing with.

Online Auction Advice
Q: How do I access all my auctions that I'm
selling & buying and how do I edit or withdraw
them ?
A: 1/ Click on the link in the left hand side orange table
called "Manage your Auctions" From the
page that opens you will see 4 "Underlined links" just
below the top navigation bar. These are named,
"Bidding open", "Bidding Closed", "Selling
Open" and "Selling Closed".
These are the main links to all your Auctionme auctions.
2/ Click on the "Membership" Tab on the top navigation
bar and on the page that loads
you will see a link called "Manage Auctions". This will
take you through as per above.
From here you can also access & personalise a lot of other useful
pages within your
member section of Auctionme.
Q: How do I do to upload a photo of my item with my listing?
A: To upload a photo you just have to follow the instructions
given when you
are posting your new listing. When the "upload photo"
page opens you have to
click on "browse" and then search for the photo you wish
to use from your
computer and then click on "upload". The page will refresh
with a full size
pic of your item and also a thumbnail sized pic.
If you are still having trouble, be sure to check that popups have
not been disabled or are
blocked from Auctionme.
Q: How do I add feed back after successfully completing a trade?
A: You can click on the link from the original email from
Auctionme, go to the closed auction page
and follow the feedback link from there or click on "edit auctions"
and then click on the "winning bids"
tab once that page opens (its the faint colored grey tab beside
the blue "open bids" tab)
from there you get a choice on how many days of past auctions you
want to veiw
Q: I'd like my auction to stop automatically relisting
please and I can't
find anywhere on your site to do so.
A: You need to sign in and click on the "manage auctions"
(see above answer) From there
you just have to click on the "withdraw auction" link
and the auction will be disabled.
Q: How do I take advantage of the "Free Address Verification
offer" ?
A: Simply send an email to Address
Verification from the email that you joined up with and
we will take care of the rest. Address verification gives potential
buyers that wee bit more "piece of mind" when dealing
with new people.
Q: I am from another Country other than New Zealand or
Australia....Can I still join?
A: No. Auctionme is for residents of these 2 Countries.
Users must abide by Auctionme rules and policies and also abide
by all New Zealand laws, including the newly updated Second Hand
Dealers Act.
